About APCU
The Association of Presbyterian Colleges and Universities is an independent, not-for-profit organization that exists to strengthen the mission of colleges and universities related to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

Purposes

  • To advocate the mission of higher education in the Reformed tradition
  • To serve as a resource for the presidents and staffs of member institutions
  • To assist presidents and their staffs in strengthening their institutions
  • To enhance the diverse partnerships of member institutions with one another, with governing bodies of the PC(USA) and with other associations and institutions of higher education
  • To engage in other activities necessary to fulfill its mission

Covenant

APCU has a renewable covenant PDF Icon with the General Assembly Mission Council of the PC(USA). The Association works closely with the church's Collegiate Ministries office and other offices.

Financial Support

Financial support for APCU comes mainly from the dues of member institutions. Individuals can support the work of APCU through tax-free contributions.

Legal Status

APCU is a nonprofit corporation incorporated in Kentucky and operated exclusively for religious, charitable and educational purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
