Insurance and Risk Management (APCURM)

APCU offers insurance and risk management protection to its member institutions through Association of Presbyterian Colleges and Universities Risk Management (APCURM). Any member of APCU may participate in APCURM.

APCURM works through Educational and Institutional Insurance Administrators, Inc. (EIIA), which is based in Chicago and operates as a non-for-profit Illinois corporation to serve the insurance and risk management needs of small, church-related schools.

Through APCURM, schools have access to a full range of insurance including property and liability, employee health, group life, long-term disability, student health and accident and specialized coverage.

APCUM's risk management services are geared specifically to the needs of educational institutions.

APCURM is governed by a board of directors that includes college presidents, business officers and Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) staff. The board meets twice a year with the EIIA board of directors.
