A number of Presbyterian colleges were established to educate students from various racial or ethnic populations including African-American, Hispanic, Native American and Native Alaskan. These institutions are committed to educating students in a manner that takes into account their racial or ethnic heritage and providing support for students who need it.
The Presbyterian Church (USA) supports most of these schools through the Racial Ethnic Schools and Colleges office with money from the Christmas Joy Offering.
