APCU Visit to Hannam University
A delegation of APCU presidents made an official visit to Hannam University in Daejeon, South Korea during June 2018. The purpose of the visit was to explore opportunities for APCU schools in the U.S. to collaborate with Hannam University in mutually beneficial ways. Examples of this collaboration might include study abroad programs, faculty exchange, and/or joint research initiatives.
Our delegation was treated to first-class Korean hospitality throughout our week-long visit. In addition to meeting with Hannam faculty and touring both of the University's campuses, our hosts arranged for visits to key areas of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and tours of the Korean War Memorial and Changdeokgung Palace. We were also able to explore the city of Seoul and enjoy a wide variety of traditional Korean foods.
