The Center for Faith and Service, based at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois, has announced the fourth annual list of Seminaries that Change the World (STCTW). Among the winners are four seminaries of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.): Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Columbia Theological Seminary, McCormick Theological Seminary and Union Presbyterian Seminary. University of Dubuque President Jeffrey F. Bullock today formally announced the end of the University’s Achieving the Dream campaign. The second largest capital campaign in UD’s 164-year history raised a record $120 million – $20 million more than the initial goal. More. Tuesday, September 20 2016
King University has been ranked among the “25 Best Christian Colleges and Universities in the South” and “50 Most Affordable Christian Colleges and Universities” for 2017 in the United States by Christian Universities Online (CUO), an independent online resource for prospective students and their families researching Christian higher education. Nettie Fowler McCormick Service Day is one of the longest-held traditions on the Tusculum College campus, and nearly 700 students, faculty, staff and alumni fanned out into the region last week to provide a day of service, helping others and improving the community. More.

The Center for Technology + Creativity officially opened just in time for the start of the fall semester. The multi-level, 26,000-square-foot facility was part of an extensive renovation project that transformed the College's previous student center into an impressive new home for the College’s award-winning Division of Creative Arts & Technology (CAT.) Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton addressed the crowd at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte on September 15th. For the seventh year, Warren Wilson is among U.S. News and World Report’s top-tier schools deemed the “Best National Liberal Arts Colleges.” Warren Wilson College also gets the nod as one of the top 25 national liberal arts colleges that sends graduates into the world with the least amount of student loan debt. Since arriving at Bloomfield College, College President, Richard A. Levao and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, William H. Turner III, have established their leadership in many ways, including embracing and encouraging the importance of philanthropy for the College's future. Frederick V. Moore, president of Buena Vista University since 1995, will resign from that position, effective June 30, 2017. Moore will be relocating to Florida to join his wife, Susan, and be closer to the couple's son, who has lived in a special-care facility near Orlando for the past three years.
