University of Pikeville signs purchase agreement to buy downtown Pikeville hotel
A downtown Pikeville, Kentucky, hotel could soon become a new dormitory for the University of Pikeville. University president Dr. Burton Webb has confirmed that the university has signed a purchase agreement to buy the Hilton Garden Inn. Webb said the Inn will be a perfect fit as a needed dorm for students. It’s across the street from campus, cheaper to renovate and students can move in quicker.
