Crisis Management Decision-making

An APCU Webinar, Thursday, October 30th at 3:00 p.m. EDT

In the wake of the Charlie Kirk assassination on the campus of Utah Valley University, APCU presidents have been assessing campus security models, emergency response procedures, and crisis management. The APCU is pleased to offer a webinar on these topics facilitated by one of the leading experts on high-stakes decision-making, Dr. Jack Briggs, the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Public Safety Operations at the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Thanks to Belhaven University president, Rodger Parrott, Dr. Briggs has graciously agreed to address these topics as a complementary service to the APCU. As you will see from his Speaker Summary and CV, he has a great deal of expertise in these matters drawn from many years in higher education, the non-profit sector, and the United States military–where he retired as Director of Operations for all U.S. Armed Forces ground, air, maritime, operations from the Arctic Circle to the Mexico-Guatemala border.
