Arcadia reduces food waste by 52%, $14K through prevention program

Arcadia University was featured by Leanpath, a food waste and kitchen efficiency company, for reducing food waste by more than 50 percent since August 2022. According to Leanpath’s article, Metz Culinary Management, Arcadia’s food service provider, has set a goal of reducing food waste by 50% by 2030, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for food waste reduction.
